— The State appeals two defendants’ sentences as beyond the trial court’s authority under the Sentencing Reform Act of 1981 (SRA). After sentencing Maria Paranteau to 30 months confinement, the Clallam County Superior Court delayed her jail report date until after she completed drug treatment; the court then credited 21 treatment days toward her confinement. In a separate case, the same court similarly credited Jessica Dawn Hale’s inpatient drug treatment toward her community service sentence.
