Plaintiffs in these two actions allege that they were customers of the notorious Bernard L. Madoff Investment Securities (“BLMIS”). On December 10, 2014, plaintiffs Stephen Hill, Leyla Hill, and Paul Shapiro filed a putative class action (the “Hill Action”) asserting on behalf of themselves and other BLMIS customers various state law claims against defendants UBS AG, UBS (Luxembourg) S.A.
