NICHOLS, Justice.

The Defendant, Robert J. Barden, appeals from a judgment of conviction entered September 25, 1979, in Superior Court, Cumberland County, upon a jury’s verdict finding him guilty of robbery while to his knowledge an accomplice was armed with a dangerous weapon (Class A; 17-A M.R.S.A. § 651(1)(E)).
