The petitioner, California Toll Bridge Authority, duly authorized the issuance of San Francisco-Oakland bay toll bridge revenue bonds amounting to $62,050,000, for the purpose of constructing a toll bridge across the bay of San Francisco between the cities of San Francisco and Oakland, and for the purpose of reimbursing the state of California for the sum of $650,000 theretofore advanced by the state and expended in certain preliminary work in connection with the bridge.
