Plaintiff Imperial Premium Finance, Inc. filed this suit against appellants Southern Assurance, Inc. (SAI) and its president, John Khoury, asserting claims for, inter alia, breach of warranty and fraud in connection with a premium finance transaction arranged by SAI and Khoury on behalf of SAI’s client, Monterrey, Ltd., a Nigerian company in the business of providing offshore oil rig support for certain American oil companies.
