1. It was held by this court in the case of Mayor &c. of Macon v. String field, 16 Ga. App. 480 (85 S. E. 684), that since section 910 of the Political Code of 1910 provides that any person, firm, or corporation having a “claim for money damages” against a municipality of this State on account of injury to personal property-must, as a prerequisite to bringing a suit to enforce such demand, first’ present in writing such claim to the governing authority of the municipality for adjustment, “stating the time, place, and extent” of the alleged injury as near as practicable, and the…
