On January 13, 1987, appellant Frederick Daniels was tried and convicted by a jury of raping Larietta Morehead, eleven year old daughter of Ms. Linda Curry. Daniels was sentenced to a twenty-year term in the Arkansas Department of Correction. On appeal, he raises three issues: (1) his constitutional rights were violated when the trial judge refused to allow one of his witnesses to testify; (2) the court erred when it refused to allow him to develop reputation testimony from a “reluctant” witness; and (3) the court erred when it permitted the prosecutor to comment on…
