Earl Caldwell was charged by felony information with the. rape of Linda Skidmore on May 11, 1978. The victim reported to police she had been raped by a man who forced his way into her home at about 1:3.0 a.m. She stated a man had broken through her back door, tied her hands and forced her into the living room.
