[1] The appellant, Bruce Edward Leaks, was convicted in a jury trial of first-degree murder and was sentenced to forty years in the Arkansas Department of Correction. On appeal to the Arkansas Court of Appeals, Mr. Leaks raised two assignments of error. First, he argued that the trial court abused its discretion in limiting his cross-examination of a State’s witness.
