ELDRIDGE, Judge.

This case concerns the standard of review applicable to judicial consideration of a petition to vacate a public-sector labor arbitration award under Maryland Code (1978, 1985 *88Repl.Vol.), § 6-408 of the Education Article. The issue in this case is whether the circuit court erred in refusing to vacate the arbitration award.
