Hanbury, Jr., co-administrators of the estate of Craig Stewart McCoy, sought pursuant to the District of Columbia Wrongful Death Act, D.C.Code §§ 16-2701 to 2703 (1981), and the District of Columbia Survival Act, D.C.Code §§ 12-101 to 104 (1981), to recover damages for his alleged wrongful death.
