OPINION
BISSETT, Justice.
This case is concerned with the rights and impediments to the cancellation of an insurance policy where the mortgagee of the insured property was not notified of the cancellation prior to the loss. Store-craft, Inc., named in a Loss Payable Clause attached to an insurance policy issued by Travelers Indemnity Company, sued Travelers to recover for the loss of the property insured under the policy when that property was destroyed by Hurricane Celia.
