STEINBERG, Judge:

The appellant, through counsel, seeks review of a May 25, 2001, Board of Veterans’ Appeals (Board or BVA) decision that denied a Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) increased rating (greater than 30 %) for his service-connected hypertensive and arteriosclerotic heart disease with unstable angina. Record (R.) at 1-7. The appellant filed a brief asking that the Court reverse the Board decision and award a 60% rating for his disability.
