McFarlane v. Hotz

On January 27, 1947, Sara Taylor McFarlane, the acting recorder of deeds for Madison County, together with fourteen other employees of county offices, filed a complaint in the circuit court of Madison County, by which they sought to enjoin the county clerk and county treasurer from complying with the provisions of the act which created the Illinois municipal retirement fund, (Ill.
