This tort action was instituted by the plaintiff, Joseph D. McCaskey, against the defendant, Daniel International Corporation, d/b/a Daniel Construction Company (hereinafter referred to as “Daniel”) by service of Summons and Complaint, seeking recovery for certain injuries plaintiff allegedly sustained while working for International Steel Erectors at its job site at Fiber Industries, Inc., near Florence, South Carolina.
