MEMORANDUM OPINION AND ORDER

The issue before the Court in this voluntary Chapter 11 case is whether the Court should appoint a Chapter 11 Trustee, pursuant to 11 U.S.C. § 1104, and thereby remove the Debtor-in-Possession, Ag Service Centers, L.C., as its own trustee. An emergency motion seeking the Debtor-in-Possession’s removal as trustee was filed by the Debtor’s major secured creditor, Mercantile Bank of Western Missouri, on September 1, 1999.
