On December 16th, 1905, the Court of Probate for the district of Fairfield approved the dis tribution of the testate estate of David B. Disbrow, deceased, whereby premises on Highland Avenue in Bridgeport were set to Ella F. Hull, the plaintiff’s intestate, for life. This distribution was never recorded on the Bridgeport land records. Taxes on those premises for the years 1917 to 1935 inclusive were assessed by the defendant in the name of Ella F. Hull, and have not been paid. She died intestate, a resident of Westport, on August 10th, 1934. The defendant presented no claim to the plaintiff,…
