Presently before the Court is defendant Maoz Vegetarian USA, Inc.’s (“Maoz’s”) motion for leave to amend its answer. Defendant requests permission to add a fifth affirmative defense based on the one-year statute of limitations provision found in the parties’ franchise agreement.
