Maritza Zayas-Ortiz, (“Zayas”), her husband Jose Santiago-Sierra (“Santiago”) and the conjugal partnership composed by them (collectively “Plaintiffs”) bring this action against Becton Dickinson Caribe, Ltd., Becton Dickinson Puerto Rico, Inc. and Becton, Dickinson & Co. (“Defendants”), alleging discrimination based on age and national origin, in violation of the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (“ADEA”), 29 U.S.C. §§ 621 et seq.; and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (“Title VII”), 42 U.S.C. §§ 2000e et seq.
