American Tool Companies, Inc. (American) appeals from a judgment finding it breached an employment contract with Dennis L. Jacobson for refusing to pay Jacobson his stock appreciation rights after his employment with American terminated. American argues that the evidence is not sufficient for the circuit court's determination that Jacobson resigned and that he had an at-will employment relationship with the company.
