LASKER, District Judge.
In this action the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (“EEOC”) alleges that American Express Publishing Corp. (“American Express”) engaged in a policy of age discrimination in violation of the Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967 (“ADEA”), 29 U.S.C. § 621 et seq., and that this policy led to the discharge of J. Stewart Lahey. The relief EEOC seeks consists of a permanent injunction ordering American Express to cease any employment practice that discriminates on the basis of age and a judgment for back pay and liquidated damages to individuals, including but…
