EVERETT, Senior Judge:

A special court-martial, comprised of a military judge sitting alone,1 convicted appellant, contrary to his pleas, of disrespect to a petty officer and 14 specifications of obtaining $2,521.47 worth of long-distance telephone services under false pretenses.2 Thereafter, the judge sentenced appellant to a bad-conduct discharge and confinement for 2 months. The convening authority approved these results, and the Court of *77Military Review affirmed. 30 MJ 1105 (1989).
