Defendant William Abbott was engaged in the real estate business. He contracted to purchase a large number of real estate lots from John A. Van Pelt and associates and also from the Pen Bryn Land Company. Thereupon he turned about and associated with himself the plaintiff Sly, J. W. Allen and later Richard Eagan.
