This is an action by the plaintiffs to recover damages for injuries to the plaintiff Ada Bresee, alleged to have been caused by the negligence of the defendants. Paul Bresee is the husband of Ada Bresee, and is made a party solely for that reason. The wife will hereafter be referred to as the plaintiff. The plaintiff was riding in a two-seated canopy-top carriage, driven by P. F. Bresee, along Hill Street in the city of Los Angeles, at about 10 o’clock at night, and in crossing the track of the defendant company a car, under the management of the defendant Majonnier as motorman, ran against…
