BACKGROUND
The following relevant background facts are gathered from the petition for removal and petitioner’s filings in his state court action:
Petitioner Marshall E. Bloomfield (“Bloomfield”) is the former attorney for respondent Dermot MacShane (“MacSh-ane”). Around 2002, Bloomfield represented MacShane in connection with a matrimonial action in state court.
