delivered the opinion of the court.

By this appeal defendant seeks to have reversed a judgment against it of $7,000, recovered by plaintiff in an action for personal injuries. ■

The accident occurred about 7 o’clock on the evening of March 1, 1916. Plaintiff had been a passenger on one of defendant’s street cars going'west on Armitage avenue, an east and west street in Chicago.
