This is an action at law brought in the Polk County District Court by the trustee of the Automatic Washer Company, a Delaware corporation, with its principal place of business in Newton, Io-wa, debtor in reorganization, against John W. Chamberlin, a nonresident of the State of Iowa, and former President, Director and Chief Executive Officer of the debtor-corporation, claiming damages in excess of nine million dollars for alleged fraud and mismanagement in his dealings with the company.
