WISS, Judge:

After a contested trial, a general court-martial of officer and enlisted members convicted appellant of involuntary manslaughter and committing indecent acts with a child under the age of 16 years. See Arts. 119 and 134, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 USC §§ 919 and 934, respectively. The members sentenced appellant to a bad-conduct discharge, confine*433ment for 1 year, and reduction to the lowest enlisted grade. The convening authority approved these results.
