BOWNES, Circuit Judge.

Plaintiff-appellant Jeffrey Daury appeals the grant of summary judgment in favor of defendants-appellees in his action for deprivation of constitutional rights under 42 U.S.C. § 1983. Daury, a “grade leader” in the Pittsfield, Massachusetts school system, alleged in three counts of his complaint that the defendants, 1 by requiring him to consult a psychiatrist as a condition of continued employment, deprived him of his right to privacy as guaranteed by the ninth and fourteenth amendments and his right to liberty as guaranteed by the fourteenth amendment.
