This was an action on the case commenced in the superior court of Cook county by the defendant in error against the plaintiff in error to recover damages for a personal injury alleged to have been sustained by the defendant in error in consequence of a collision between a buggy in which he was riding and an electric car operated by the plaintiff in error on one of the public streets of the city of Chicago.
