The Oregon State Bar filed a single charge complaint against Kim L. Jordan accusing him of unethical conduct for the violation of DR 1-102(A)(4). The gravamen of the complaint is that Jordan on February 9, 1979, at a hearing in Josephine County, falsely denied under oath that previously on August 28,1978, he had a conversation with one Earl Best and had observed “bus seats that had been slashed.” Both parties at all stages of this case have referred to the charge as alleged “false swearing.”
