H. L. Francis and Merrill D. Price, who describe themselves as . . operators of eardrooms . . . brought this suit to restrain the County of Stanislaus, Dan Kelsay, its sheriff, and Alexander M. Wolfe, its district attorney, from prosecuting them for any breach of an ordinance adopted by vote of the people of Stanislaus County relative to gambling in commercial eardrooms in the County of Stanislaus.
