HEÜSTDERS OH, Judge.
Appellant was convicted of murder in the first degree, and his punishment assessed at confinement in the penitentiary for life, and he prosecutes this appeal."
Aside from the confessions of appellant made to Wiley Allgood, and to which he testified, the case was one wholly of circumstantial evidence. The evidence for the State tends to show that deceased, whom we think was sufficiently identified as J. L. Campbell, was killed shortly after noon on the 5th of September, about two miles south of Eddy, on the west side of the railroad track, in a wood or thicket near a branch.…
