The Clarion Savings Bank of Clarion, Iowa, was a banking corporation created and operating under the laws of the state of Iowa. In July, 1930, the state superintendent of banking notified the bank that corrections would have to be made in the setup of the bank’s assets, and the board of directors of the bank were summoned to Des Moines for a personal conference with the examiner in chief. Following this conference the matter of meeting the requirements of the state banking department was taken up with R.- E. Courson, as the agent of his mother, Clara M. Courson, who was the owner…
