In an automobile collision on November 15, 1935, at the intersection of tbe Marine City highway, a paved road 16 feet in width, and a gravel road, 30 feet in width, known as the Indian Trail, in St. Clair county, plaintiff received serious injuries. He was approaching the intersection at a speed of from 40 to 50 miles per hour on the through highway. At a distance of from 100 to 150 feet from the intersection, he observed that defendant had stopped on the Indian Trail at the left side of the main highway.
