This action was brought by the appellee, Adler, against appellant, Granow, to recover damages for the breach of a contract of employment. The complaint alleges an oral contract made on June 14, 1920, whereby defendant employed plaintiff as clerk, manager, and salesman in defendant’s dry-goods store, in Phoenix, Arizona, for a period of one year from that date, for the compensation of $35 per week, with the additional sum of two per cent commissions on the gross sales made by plaintiff; said amounts to be paid weekly.
