Appeal from county court, Onondaga county. Action by Jesse W. Billington against Michael Cahill for damages for breach of a contract of hiring. Verdict and judgment for plaintiff. Defendant appeals.

The defendant dismissed the plaintiff from his service on the 26th day of November, 1885. The plaintiff claims that such discharge was wrongful in that it was a breach of the contract between them by which the defendant employed the plaintiff for the period of one year from April 1,1885. It wms to recover damages for such alleged breach of contract that this action was brought. In his complaint the plaintiff alleges that in or about the month of March, 1885, the plaintiff and defendant entered into an agreement whereby the plaintiff agreed to work for the defendant at farm work for the term…
