YOCK, Judge.

The plaintiff in this inverse condemnation action is the owner of a parcel of approximately 34 acres of land situated adjacent to the Ohio River on the western outskirts of the City of Cloverport in Breckinridge County, Kentucky. The plaintiff has been involved in the extraction and marketing of sand and gravel from this land since it acquired the property in 1962. In this action, the plaintiff seeks to recover compensation for diminution in the value of its property caused by actions of the defendant.
