This is an appeal from the district court’s dismissal of Plaintiff’s complaint on the basis of res judicata. Plaintiff LaSalle Bank (“LaSalle”) was the assignee of a mortgage on a parcel of property located in Flint, Michigan. Defendant Michelle Legacy (“Legacy”) acquired the property at a tax sale, and subsequently obtained a state court judgment quieting title to the property in her.
