The plaintiff, Louis D. Comeroli, appeals from the judgment of the trial court dismissing his appeal from an order of the Probate Court for lack of subject matter jurisdiction. The court concluded that pursuant to General Statutes § 45a-186 (a), as amended by Public Acts 2007, No. 07-116, § 2 (P.A. 07-116), 1 the plaintiffs appeal was untimely, as it was filed more than thirty days after the mailing of the order of the Probate Court from which it was taken.
