VERTEFEUILLE, J.
The dispositive issue in this appeal is whether the trial court improperly excluded evidence related to hair and fingerprints recovered from the crime scene, which forensic tests determined did not originate from the defendant. A jury found the defendant, Michael Cerreta, guilty of felony murder in violation of General Statutes § 53a-54c,1 manslaughter in the first degree in violation of General Statutes § 53a-55 (a) (3),2 and burglary in the first degree in violation of General Statutes § 53a-101 (a) (2).3 The defendant appeals from the judgment of the trial court…
