Robert Armitage (Claimant) petitions for review of the June 9, 2003, order of the Workers’ Compensation Appeal Board (WCAB), which affirmed the order of the workers’ compensation judge (WCJ) to *517deny Claimant’s claim petition. We vacate and remand.

In May of 2001, Claimant filed a claim petition in which he alleged that he sustained a work-related injury on August 31, 1999, in the nature of plantar fasciitis.1 (WCJ’s Findings of Fact, Nos. 1, 7; R.R. at 1.)
