TRAXLER, Circuit Judge.

George F. Thompson appeals a grant of summary judgment in favor of his former employer, Potomac Electric Power Company (“PEPCO”), on his employment discrimination claims under Title VII and Section 1981. See 42 U.S.C.A. §§ 2000e-2(a), 2000e-3(a) (West 1994); 42 U.S.C.A. § 1981 (West 1994).
