NATURE OF CASE

Kevin Boslau petitioned this court for further review of the decision of the Nebraska Court of Appeals, in which the Court of Appeals affirmed the order of the district court for Hall County denying Boslau’s motion for an absolute discharge of the charge against him due to the State’s alleged failure to bring Boslau to trial within 6 months as required by Neb. Rev. Stat. § 29-1207(1) (Reissue 1995). State v. Boslau, 8 Neb. App. 275, 593 N.W.2d 747 (1999). For the reasons stated below, we affirm the decision of the Court of Appeals.
