SANDSTROM, Justice.

[¶ 1] Workforce Safety and Insurance (“WSI”) and Bobcat Company appeal a district court order affirming an Administrative Law Judge’s (“ALJ”) order reversing WSI’s denial of death benefits to Cynthia Auck, the surviving spouse of Richard Auck (“Auck”). Because a reasoning mind reasonably could have determined the preponderance of the evidence proved a com-pensable injury, we affirm.
