EVERETT, Chief Judge:

A military judge sitting as a special court-martial found the accused guilty of two unauthorized absences, in violation of Article 86, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 U.S.C. § 886, and sentenced him to a bad-conduct discharge as well as confinement at hard labor and forfeiture of $350.00 pay per month for 3 months. The convening authority approved the sentence but, pursuant to a pretrial agreement, suspended confinement at hard labor in excess of 15 days.
