It is contended that tbe testimony shows the plaintiff’s injury was caused by his own carelessness, and hence errors were committed in denying a motion for a judgment of nonsuit and in refusing to direct the jury to find for the defendant. The evidence shows that the defendant is a corporation, and operates at Hood River, Oregon, machinery to generate electricity which is distributed by wires suspended upon poles, and that the current thus produced is used for power and lighting purposes.
