The District Court for the Southern District of Texas granted summary judgment in favor of defendant-appellee Universal Sprinkler Corporation (“Universal”) in a suit brought by plaintiff-appellant Road Sprinkler Fitters Local Union No. 669 (“Union”). This action against defendant Continental Sprinkler Company (“Continental”) sought to enforce the substantive provisions of a collective bargaining agreement (“Agreement”) between the Union and Continental and compel arbitration under that Agreement.
