This is an action to quiet title to certain mining claims in San Bernardino County, described by appellant as the Ledge Group of claims. Defendant and respond ent answered and denied plaintiff’s title and right of possession; admitted an adverse interest in the property and alleged ownership and right of possession to certain mining claims known as the Gold Chief Group; and prayed for judgment quieting title to the latter group of claims.-
