Plaintiff instituted this action for the purpose of recovering from the defendants damages alleged to have been sustained by him because of the breach by the defendants of a certain written contract entered into, between plaintiff and the defendant Sunland Sales Co-operative Association. Buring the trial of the action, which took place before the court without a jury, it was stipulated that the contract which was introduced in evidence, although it was not executed by the defendants, Sun-Maid Raisin Growers Association and Sun-Maid Raisin Growers of California, was authorized by them and that…
